Our Trust
The majority 51% shareholder in FutureLead is the Lulamile Mbete Professional Development Trust (LMPDT) which was established in 2014, and has the objective to “promote the advancement of black persons in the management consulting sector; and support, train and provide mentorship to black persons to equip and upskill such persons to enter the management consulting sector; to establish and maintain a Consulting Academy to achieve certain of its objectives; and to pursue and promote more specific projects and objectives in furtherance of the main object of the trust as the trustees may from time to time decide.
In furtherance of the above objectives, the LMPDT has funded bursary programmes for black graduate students, and to provide internship opportunities to these graduates. The Trustees of the LMPDT are: Nompumelelo Kubheka, Dr Sithembile Mbete, Luzuko Tashe and Johan Naudé (Ex Officio).
